NEW YORK (CBSNew York) — A search is underway for the suspect who shot a teenager at a Brooklyn deli on Saturday.
It happened around 6pm in East Flatbush

The deli owner told CBS2 that his 18-year-old son was working as a cashier at the family business when he was shot in the head.
Customers say the workers were friendly and known in the community.

“I’m surprised, and I’m not surprised. But specifically for this I didn’t expect it to happen, did I? I wouldn’t expect it to happen because they are so chill. So to come here and do something like that, that person is really crazy to do something like that,” said one customer.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, but is now recovering.
Police have not yet released any information about a possible motive. They say they are looking for two suspects in this case.
