95 new COVID-19 cases identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – Camden County Department of Health announces 68 new positive cases of COVID-19 which took place on Thursday, February 24th. In addition, 27 cases were detected through antigen testing, bringing the total number of cases up 95. The total number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 103,741 and 1,586 th most common total deaths.

The results of these antigen tests, in contrast to the results of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), are likely positive cases. These daily figures are added to our aggregated laboratory-tested PCR metrics.

Of the 68 cases 14 is among patients under 18 years of age. The average age of the newly infected is 40 years old.

Vaccine time:

Operating hours at the Camden County Health Hub Vaccine Clinic run from 1pm to 4pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 11am to 5pm on Thursdays. This includes booster shots for ages 12-17.

To date, 401,622 Residents of Camden County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while 348,522 has received two doses and 164,565 has received a third dose. More information on county-wide vaccination rates and available at the state COVID-19 dashboard at covid19.nj.gov.

The county health ministry continues to follow new cases of COVID-19 closely and information on the occurrence of the Omicron variant. New cases are often relocated to other municipalities during an investigation.
