According to the California Franchise Tax Board, the final batch of about 750,000 checks was sent out on Nov. 15, totaling about $555 million in aid.

The aid is part of the state’s ongoing stimulus program designed to help people affected by the Covid pandemic.

About 9 million residents will receive checks before the end of the year.

Eligible residents will receive as little as $500 and up to $1,100 depending on their scenario.

When will I receive my check?

Payments began in September via direct deposit and will continue year-round via paper check.

On November 29, residents living in areas with the last three digits of their zip code ranging from 585-719 will be sent paper checks.
