Active COVID-19 cases have increased slightly in Ulster, Dutchess counties – Daily Freeman

KINGSTON, NY – Ulster County reported Friday that active COVID-19 cases rose slightly in a single day, according to government online dashboard for coronavirus.

The county said Friday it had 221 cases on Feb. 24, an increase from the 215 reported a day earlier.

The county also reported no new deaths on Thursday, leaving that number at 370 since the pandemic began in March 2020.

Ulster said it has had 36,787 confirmed cases of the disease and 36,196 cures.

Dutchess County reported On Friday, it had 160 cases on Wednesday, February 23, or four more than the 156 cases for Tuesday, February 22. The county reported another COVID-19 death on Friday, bringing the total to 647.

Dutchess reported that it has had 63,072 confirmed cases of the disease.

The dashboard numbers do not include home test results that have not been reported to the health departments.
