Bill’s defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has been eliminated from today’s game against the Jets and is on the COVID-19 reserve list.
The Bills announced this morning that Lotulelei has been placed on the list. Lotulelei is said to have been unvaccinated as he previously had to be in isolation for five days due to close contact, which the NFL only requires from unvaccinated players.
Last year, Lotulelei dropped out of the season due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lotulelei has started all seven games he has played this season and usually plays the most snaps in the defensive line rotation. He also plays some special teams.
Buffalo defensive tackle Brandin Bryant has been promoted from the exhibition squad and can replace Lotulelei today.
