RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 15 (Reuters) – Brazil recorded 63 COVID-19 deaths and 2,799 additional cases on Monday, according to data released by the national health ministry.

The coronavirus death toll in the South American country is second in the world, only to the United States, but the pandemic has declined significantly in recent months, as it has in much of Latin America.

Brazil now has a total of 611,346 COVID-19 deaths and a total of 21,960,766 confirmed cases.
