ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have placed guard Austin Schlottmann on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Friday.
The list is for vaccinated players who have tested positive for the virus or for unvaccinated players who have either tested positive or are considered to be in close contact with an infected person.
Vaccinated individuals can rejoin the active squad after returning two negative tests 24 hours apart, while an unvaccinated player who has tested positive must be quarantined for 10 days. A person considered close contact must quarantine for five days and return negative tests every day to return.
Schlottmann joins quarterback Drew Lock, cornerback Michael Ojemudia and linebacker Justin Strnad on the Broncos’ Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The TCU product played nine offensive snaps against the Cowboys — his first of the season — and was signed from the exhibition squad to the active roster on Nov. 9.
