Chatham Walgreens Hosting Kids COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Friday

CHATHAM — This week, a pediatric clinic pops up on the South Side.

Walgreens will host a special one-day pediatric vaccine event Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at its Chatham location, 11 E. 75th St.

Appointments are mandatory. The vaccine is free and a parent or legal guardian must be present. Here you can schedule an appointment.

Children may be vaccinated at Walgreens, Walgreens, 11 E 75th Street, Fridays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

The announcement comes days after Chicago Public Schools declared Friday “Vaccination Awareness Day.”

Students 5 years and older are encouraged to get vaccinated at their pediatrician’s office, a health care provider, or at a community event. A list of other vaccine events can be found here.
