Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham, Player Ratings: Reece James brings the house down

Reecey Baby wasn’t quite himself the first weekend of the season – not quite fit, as it was later revealed – but he more than made up for it with a stunning performance this second weekend, starting the game on defense and finishing on wing -back, remain indispensable. His performance should also have been rewarded with at least one assist when he scored a goal for Kai Havertz. Unfortunately…

Also, best party.

As for Stamford Bridge’s debut, it doesn’t get much better than Koulibaly’s first game – except for the result itself, of course. So far so great from K2!

“I felt great to score with my second shot at Stamford Bridge, it was really beautiful. I didn’t expect it, but I was very happy to do it for our supporters. It was a great atmosphere and when everyone called my name I was really happy and I hope it’s not the last time, I want to feel this next time.”

Cucurella seems tailor-made for this team, and it’s like he’s been here forever. It was a big investment to bring him in this summer, but so far it seems like a wise one too.
