“Chicken & Biscuits” is canceling three performances this week due to breakthrough cases of COVID-19 in the Broadway company.

Performances will be canceled from November 9 to November 11 and production will then determine the next steps. According to Broadway protocols, the “Chicken & Biscuits” cast and company are fully vaccinated.

This is the second Broadway production to cancel performances due to groundbreaking COVID-19 cases since the industry reopened.

“Aladdin” initially one performance cancelled due to breakthrough cases and then canceled 10 extra performances early October as more cases emerged. Production has since resumed without further interruption.

The cases at “Chicken & Biscuits” were discovered during the show’s “regular testing process,” according to production.

“The cast and crew will continue to undergo rigorous testing to ensure we return with a COVID-free company. We are closely monitoring the situation and are supporting the recovery of affected business members,” the producers said in a statement Tuesday.

“Chicken & Biscuits” is lead produced by Pamela Ross, Hunter Arnold, E. Clayton CorneliousandLeah Michalos.
