The Earned Income Tax Deduction (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) in United States came as a welcome boost for many people, but there are still some who need money back.
You can get a refund before March 1, 2022, if you submitted your return online, you chose to receive your refund by direct deposit and there were no issues with your return.
However, it is possible that you may receive your refund a few days before this date. To see your personal refund date it’s worth checking out ‘Where is my refund‘tool on IRS.gov.
An additional point is that your bank may take a little extra time when it comes to your direct deposit or issuance of a payment card, as many institutions do not process payments if it falls on a weekend or a public holiday. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind that this may affect how quickly you receive your refund.
Why have I not received my refund?
That IRS not able to issue EITC or ACTC repayments by mid-February due to the law, and this includes your entire repayment not just the portion that is in proportion to the credit you have claimed on your tax return.

The applications for most early EITC/ACTC Filers have an estimated payment date before February 19 if you were able to file your tax ahead of schedule.
