BEIJING (Reuters) – China is willing to work with the United States on the Build Back Better World initiative, which was first proposed by the G7 last year to provide the world with high-quality public goods, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday.

Speaking at an event in Shanghai on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Shanghai Communique, an agreement between China and the United States that marked the normalization of relations, Wang said China is open to the United States participating in the two global plans , as proposed by China, the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative.
