Latest developments:

• The Department of Health reported 142 new confirmed and probable cases statewide on Wednesday, including 69 cases on Oahu, 28 on the island of Hawaii, 17 on Kauai, 13 on Maui, one on Lanai and 14 Hawaii residents living out of state. were diagnosed.

• There are now 85,360 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 58,425 in Oahu, 11,307 in Hawaii County, 10,041 in Maui County (9,653 on Maui, 243 on Molokai and 145 on Lanai), and 2,809 on Kauai. Out of state, a total of 2,778 Hawaii residents have been identified.

• Six new deaths were reported on Wednesday; the statewide death toll now stands at 968.
