BOSTON (WWLP) – Public health officials reported 2 new confirmed deaths and 2,303 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts.

Total number of cases of COVID-19 by age group:

• 0-4 years: 1,158

• 20-29 years: 5,901

Test:

According to the Department of Public Health, 55,877 new tests were performed with a total of 43,452,857 administered molecular tests.

Antigen test: A total of 7,043 new people tested positive with 4,593,868 total tests reported.

The 7-day average of percent positivity is 4.56%

Admissions:

There are 389 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 with 25 patients in intensive care units, 12 patients intubated, 255 patients reportedly fully vaccinated, and 112 patients admitted to COVID-19-related disease.
