WAIO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH SAYS THERE WERE ABOUT 2500 POSITIVE IVCOVID TESTS IN THE LAST SEVEN DAYS. THAT IS 48% FALL FROM LAST WEEK. COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Iowa

A new report shows that the number of new COVID-19 cases continues to decline in Iowa. The Iowa Department of Public Health says there were 2,503 positive COVID-19 tests in the last 7 days, a 48% drop from last week. IDPH also reports 86 more COVID-19 deaths in the past week. 9,171 people have died in Iowa from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic nearly two years ago.
