COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the rate of COVID-19 infections Continuing its downward trend, Ohio health officials are offering a pandemic update with a press conference at. 11 today.

Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff will chair the press conference as he will be joined by the following medical professionals:

Ohio’s 21-day average for new COVID infections now stands at 2,517, according to data from 6 p.m. 14 Wednesday. That is a drop from the average of 8,675 reported just two weeks ago.

The number of Ohios fully vaccinated has now peaked at 57 percent.
