COVID-19 REQUIRES MORE 12 LIFE, STATE DEATH RATE OF 7,455 AS MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 12 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 7,455 as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,529 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total case to 711,100. It is for county data reported between Friday and Sunday.

New cases include:

* 574 in Multnomah County

* 284 in Washington County

* 140 in Clackamas County

* 122 in Lane County

Locally, the OHA reported 7 new cases in Douglas County.

OHA said 100 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized across the country, with 16 in intensive care units.
