FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A COVID-19 testing event will take place Monday, Nov. 15, at the Franklin County School Board Office.
The event is open to students and staff of Franklin County Public Schools and will take place through Friday, December 17 (excluding November 23-26) between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM in the lower parking lot of the School Board Office.
Students wishing to be tested must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
You will be asked to bring your insurance card; however, those who are uninsured are covered by a federal program.
Parents can also get tested.
On arrival you will be asked to stay in your vehicle and someone will come to you.
You will then be asked to complete a number of forms and perform a self-nasal sample collection.
You will then be given instructions on how to register to get your results in 24-36 hours.
