The Eastwood Mall in Niles has two options for getting vaccinations.
Multiple opportunities are available this week for residents of Mahoning and Trumbull counties to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, including newly approved doses for children ages 5 to 11.
The Youngstown City Health District will offer new shots, second doses and boosters to those who qualify for clinics scheduled to close through Nov. 23.
- Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Price Memorial AME Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave.;
- Tuesday, 9am to 3pm: New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St.;
- Wednesday, 1 to 4 p.m.: Eugenia Atkinson Rec Center, 903 Otis St.;
- Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm: Eugenia Atkinson Rec Center, 903 Otis St.;
- November 23, 11:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.: Newport Library, 3730 Market St.
The Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines are available, as is the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. Recipients are asked to bring ID, insurance cards (if applicable), and vaccine card for a second dose or booster.
Anyone who receives a new dose of a COVID-19 vaccine will receive a $100 gift card.
Appointments can be made here. Walk-in is welcome at all locations. Masks or face coverings are required.
For anyone receiving a COVID-19 vaccine and requiring a second dose, appointments will be scheduled and provided by YCHD.
Flu shots will also be available and are free with proof of insurance. A flu shot costs $25 without insurance

In Niles, the Trumbull County Combined Health District hosts a vaccination clinic at Eastwood Mall Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7pm in the former Lane Bryant space, located near Center Court next to Pandora and opposite Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.
The vaccines Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson will be available.
The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine is only eligible for individuals 18 years of age and older.
The Pfizer vaccine is suitable for individuals ages 12 and older and the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. All minors must have a parent with them to receive the vaccine
New vaccine recipients receive a $100 gift card.

To expedite the check-in process, shot seekers are advised to visit the TCCHD website to download, print and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Record form and bring the completed form to the clinic.
Those receiving supplemental or booster doses should bring their vaccination card with them.
