Cowboys at Broncos Score: Live Updates, TV Channel, Live Stream, Game Stats for Saturday’s Preseason Game

Although the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos didn’t play the majority of starters in Saturday’s preseason opener, Denver still had plenty of offensive firepower thanks to No. 2 quarterback Josh Johnson. Johnson started in place of Russell Wilson (half-time) and threw two touchdown passes in the top half to give Denver a 17-0 lead at halftime.

The highlight of the pass was a 40-yard attack on Brandon Johnson, son of former MLB catcher Charles Johnson, as the receiver shoved the pass down the left sideline to get Denver’s charge moving. Johnson then found Seth Williams for a 1-yard touchdown three games later to put the Broncos at 7-0.

Johnson also found Kendall Hinton for a 24-yard score on a rainbow touch pass to give Denver a 14-0 lead. He went 16 of 24 for 172 yards and two touchdowns in the first half (120.2 rating).

Cooper Rush started for the Cowboys instead of Dak Prescott (half-time). He went 9 of 17 for 70 yards and an interception in the first half, the interception came on a fourth-down pass in the first quarter. Many Dallas starters were out of the game (20 in total). Dallas has nine penalty kicks in the first half.

There are plenty of camp fights that will take center stage in the second half of Saturday’s tilt, so stay tuned to the live blog for all the action!
