Connecticut’s COVID-19 positivity rate is above 3 percent.
Gov. Ned Lamont said Tuesday that the state’s COVID-19 positivity rate is 3.2%.
The state returned positive 309 tests out of 9,578 tests taken since Monday at a rate of 3.23%.
Lamont said this is the highest in about six weeks and the number of hospitalizations is increasing.
This comes after a positivity rate Monday of 2.57 percent.
The rate on Friday was 1.33 percent on Nov. 5.
As of Monday, 25 additional people with COVID-19 in Connecticut have been hospitalized. Current hospitalizations in the state are 232.
