Darnall changes COVID-19 vaccinations, testing to main hospital | Military

Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center has moved COVID-19 vaccination and test surgeries back to the main hospital.

Active service members, family members and retirees 11 years and older can apply for vaccinations for COVID-19 at the Haematology Clinic on the second floor of the hospital from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Abrams Gym has been the focal point for COVID-19 vaccinations at Fort Hood since early 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic demand for vaccinations and shut down Friday.

COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5 to 11 are now available at the pediatric clinic on the first-floor hospital.

COVID-19 testing went back to primary clinics Thursday. Log in to book appointments for 11 years and older vaccinations or testing www.tricareonline.com or call the patient appointment line at 254-288-8888. Walk-in is welcome.

COVID-19 48-hour test for permanent change of station outside the American continent (OCONUS) and official travel is available in the emergency department after normal on-call time. For more information, call 254-288-8114.
