Nov. 11 (Reuters) – The European drug regulator on Thursday recommended adding a rare type of spinal cord inflammation as a side effect of Johnson & Johnson’s (JNJ.N) COVID-19 vaccine.

It also reviewed reports of capillary leak syndrome after inoculation with Moderna’s (MRNA.O) shot.

The European Medicines Agency said there is currently insufficient evidence of a possible link between rare cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome with mRNA vaccines, including the injection of Moderna.
