Snyder, 43, was charged in November 2016, the same day former Lake County sheriff John Buncich was charged with taking bribes in a tow scheme. Since then, Snyder’s file has 559 files. Buncich, 75, has been in prison since early 2018 in Springfield, Missouri, where he is serving a 15-year sentence.
