“The Golden State Stimulus is key to lifting those hardest hit by the pandemic and supporting California’s economic recovery by putting money directly into the hands of people who will spend it on basic needs and within their local communities,” Newsom said. at the time.
Checks still pending
Although many checks have already been issued, there is a combined $563 million still waiting to go out, with this auxiliary checks set to ship to eligible recipients in California by December 17.
Those expecting a check line up for a payment between $600 and $1,100, the amount depending on your own personal circumstances.
There are still 3,000 direct deposits due, while every other Golden State Stimulus II you must be a California resident who has lived in the state for more than half of the 2020 tax year and earned $75,000 or less in 2020.

The state of California has released the terms in which eligible recipients can expect payment by mail, based on the last three digits of their zip code:
- 376-584: Between 15/11/2021 and 12/03/2021
- 585-719: Between 11/29/2021 and 12/17/2021
- 720-927: between 13-12-2021 and 31-12-2021
- 928-999: between 27/12/2021 and 1/11/2022
