(HARTFORD, CT) – As the state of Connecticut continues to take action in response to the global spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Governor Ned Lamont delivered the following updates from 6 p.m. 15:00 Monday, February 14, 2022:
Data updates on testing in Connecticut
The following is an overview of the daily recently reported data on cases and tests in Connecticut. It is important to note that these recently reported updates include data that has occurred over the last several days to a week. All data in this report is preliminary and data for past dates will be updated as new reports are received and data errors corrected.

Of 406 patients currently hospitalized with laboratory-certified COVID-19, 187 (46.1%) not fully vaccinated.
In the week beginning January 30, 2022, unvaccinated individuals had one 3.1 times greater risk of testing positive for COVID-19 compared to fully vaccinated individuals.
In the week beginning January 30, 2022, unvaccinated individuals had one 15.2 times greater risk of dying from COVID-19 compared to fully vaccinated individuals.
Data on COVID-19-related deaths are updated once a week every Thursday. The most recently reported total number of deaths is 10,219.

Individuals who have general questions that are not answered on the website can call 2-1-1 for assistance. The hotline is available 24 hours a day and has multilingual assistance. Anyone outside the state or requiring a toll-free number can connect to Connecticut 2-1-1 by calling 1-800-203-1234. This is intended for use by people who are not experiencing symptoms but who may have general questions related to COVID-19. Anyone experiencing symptoms is strongly encouraged to contact their doctor.
