GRAND HAVEN, MI — Just over half of all intensive care (ICU) beds in Ottawa County are occupied by COVID-19 patients in a situation that is bordering on “barely” according to health officials.

As the number of cases continues to rise, confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients also account for 36% of all inpatient hospital beds, according to Ottawa County health data as of Nov. 20.
