HERSHEY, Dad. (WHTM) — The Hershey Bears were forced to postpone two games due to COVID-19 protocols in the league.
The American Hockey League has announced that both its Sunday, November 28 home game and its Wednesday, December 1 road game have been postponed. Both games were against Lehigh Valley.
“This decision has been made in consultation with medical experts and the AHL and for the health and safety of players, coaches and game day staff,” the team said in a release Saturday night.
The makeup dates are yet to be determined. Fans who have purchased tickets are asked to hold them at this time, and further information will be communicated once the game is rescheduled.
The Hershey Bears are currently fourth in the Atlantic Division with an 8-5-2-1 record. The Bears last played in a 7-3 loss against Rochester on Friday.
