Blangiardi said he felt sluggish Tuesday, April 12, so he took a COVID-19 test Wednesday morning. The result was positive for COVID-19. He reported that his symptoms were mild since he received his booster injection.

“I had occasional coughing, occasional sneezing, a kind of runny nose,” Blangiardi said. “Sincerely, if I did not know COVID, or if we did not know COVID. I would have thought I just had a cold. I feel lucky. I think the challenge of it all was to stay home for five days. “
