The COVID-19 pandemic has taken much from the North Texas community, including the lives of more than 14,200 residents in our region.

As we approach the two-year anniversary of the emergence of the coronavirus in Dallas-Fort Worth, we will Dallas Morning News wants to pay tribute to those lost to COVID-19 by creating a virtual memorial wall.

We invite readers to share their photos, videos and memories of their loved ones for free. The memorial wall remains alive and can be connected for a year. Although it is difficult to fathom such a loss, we believe that the power of memory can bring us together as a community in these difficult times.
