MUSKEGON, MI – An incentive to get the COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for the employees of the city of Muskegon in the hopes it will keep essential workers like snowplow drivers on the job.

The lump sum payment of 1% of an employee’s salary was approved Tuesday for non-union workers, along with an increase in the city’s residency incentive.
