Joe Biden signs checks and promises a fourth stimulus? Video circulating on Facebook is fake: reports

How does a fourth stimulus control sound?

Well, for more than three million people who have signed a petition not only asking for a fourth round of stimulus, but a recurring monthly payment of $ 2,000 until the end of the pandemic, it certainly sounds beautiful, damn good.

And there are undoubtedly plenty of people who have not signed on to the signature drive that is struggling while the COVID-19 pandemic continues. They would probably also be ready for a fourth stimulus.

On the other hand, there are people who think that another round of payments is not justified at all.

So it has become a hot topic of discussion and debate lately, and as in all things, it seems that these days is opening the door to misinformation. And that brings us to the last bit of misinformation about a possible stimulus payment.

No, it was not President Joe Biden about video signing stimulus checks and announcing that Americans would start receiving payments within the next few weeks.

Per several reports, the video, which was circulated on Facebook from February 15, showed a split screen of Biden giving a speech and signing an executive order. Someone trying to mimic his voice – pretty bad, but some people were still fooled – says: “Some people will start seeing the direct deposits in their bank accounts this weekend. Payments to eligible Americans will continue over the next couple of weeks.”

Another tell, per Politifact.com The report is that the clip taken from a Biden speech on climate, held on November 1, 2021, does not match the movements of his lips with the voice that can be heard.

So unfortunately for those who need some extra money during this time, the plans for a fourth stimulus are still not in the works.
