Kaleva Norman Dickson Schools notified families via email Monday of four cases of COVID-19 in the district.

BRETHREN – Kaleva Norman Dickson Schools notified families by email Monday of four cases of COVID-19 in the district.

“Today we were alerted to three students and an employee who tested positive for COVID. They will remain in quarantine until Sunday, … according to the health department and (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines,” said Cheryl Smith, principal , in the e-mail. “These positive cases resulted in three close contacts, who will also be in quarantine until Sunday, according to guidelines from the Ministry of Health and the CDC.”

KND currently requires staff and students to wear face masks in the building regardless of vaccination status.
