Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Social Development, confirmed the completion of the disbursement of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Grant to all recipients of social assistance across the UAE on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Those included are all social security recipients in the Ministry of Community Development and all social assistance recipients registered with local authorities in the UAE.
She praised the grant from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to pay 340 million Dhs to recipients of social assistance on the occasion of the holy month in addition to the assistance provided to them on a monthly basis as part of social assistance to all eligible categories in the UAE. She stressed that governance directives enhance all forms of support, empowerment and provide well-being for UAE citizens; as such, all government initiatives promote the well-being of UAE citizens and various members of society.
Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid said: “The amounts transferred of the scholarship from His Highness to the eligible categories across the UAE were completed within 3 working days in coordination with all local authorities related to social affairs to ensure that they benefit from the grant so as soon as possible and take advantage of it on the occasion of the holy month. ” She noted that the grant covered all social assistance recipients in the UAE as well as eligible categories; it has been distributed in accordance with the terms and procedures of the Federal Social Assistance Act.
