Following the removal of all domestic COVID restrictions and regulations, on April 1, 2022, the government issued a new guidance on public health at work as part of its “Living with COVID” strategy. The guide sets out new principles for reducing the spread of respiratory infections in the workplace (including COVID-19) and complements further guidance issued to the public on living safely with respiratory infections. As many employers are now in the process of phasing in a return to the office, our client alert in April takes into account the key messages to employers.
