The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the outcome for the recruitment of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO) under the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
As many as 321 candidates have passed the key written exam and computer proficiency test and have been shortlisted for document verification.
The main written exam for the recruitment campaign was held from August 25, 2021 and the computer proficiency test was conducted on November 2, 2021.
The roll numbers of the candidates tentatively shortlisted for the release of the Certificate Verification have been uploaded on the official website of the Commission-ossc.gov.in.
The date of the Certificate Verification will be published on the Commission website shortly. Shortlisted candidates are advised to keep in constant contact with the Commission website www.ossc.gov.in to be kept informed of further updates,” the Commission said in a statement.
Notably, in 2017, the OSSC had published the advertisement for the recruitment of 151 Social Security Officer (BSSO) posts on a contract basis under the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
Online applications from eligible candidates were invited from November 9, 2017 to December 8, 2017.
The appointment will initially be on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration consisting of an initial award + salary in the range of Rs 9300- to Rs 34,800 and GP of Rs 4200 (pre-reviewed) subject to review by the Government from time to time .
Terms of Service: Post appointment is governed by Odisha Group-B posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 and the Odisha Social Security Services (Recruitment and Terms of Service) Rules, 2016.
