Patrick Peterson activated from reserve/COVID-19

EAGAN, Minnesota — Vikings’ most experienced cornerback is lining up to play on Thursday evening.

Minnesota announced Tuesday that it has removed Patrick Peterson from its Reserve/COVID-19 list. The cornerback was put on the list last week and missed Sunday’s game against the Lions.

Peterson, a 2021 free agent signing who signed a one-year deal last season, has played 512 defensive snaps in 2021, accounting for 61 percent of Minnesota’s total defensive snaps. He missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.
