PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police say a boy was shot and killed Saturday night while playing video games in a house.
It happened around 9:41 PM on the 200 block of Collom Street in the Germantown section of the city.
Police say the bullet was fired somewhere outside the house.
The boy was hit in the leg. He was rushed to a hospital in the region, where he was placed in stable condition.
Investigators say there are four bullet holes in the house.
The boy’s mother was the only other person at home at the time. She was not injured.
Police took a 17-year-old into custody at the scene with a loaded gun, but investigators do not believe he was the shooter.
