Pune: In yet another shocking incident reported on Saturday, a sex racket driven online was interrupted by the Pimpri Chinchwad police social security cell.

After the bust, at least 3 people landed in police nets accused of driving the racket, while three women have been sent to rescue homes.

According to Devendra Chavan, the social security cell police inspector stated that they received a tip that a sex racket was being served at various hotels in Pimpri Chinchwad. He went on to say: “The man sent photographs digitally to customers and booked hotels online for them,” according to the report published in India’s times.

Further investigations revealed that the police came in contact with the person operating the racket through a lure customer and he was later called to the hotel in Chinchwad. As soon as the lure customer gave the confirmation to the police, they raided the hotel and also rescued 3 women involved in this racket.

The women were reportedly outside Maharashtra and forced into prostitution.
