Raiders vs. Cardinals Score: Live Updates, Game Stats, Week 2 Showdown Highlights

The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to avoid a 0-2 start after dropping a brutal opening game of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Arizona Cardinals are in the same boat after being blown out of the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1, but face another AFC West opponent — this time on the road.

Kyler Murray and the Cardinals trailed 30 last week and were outplayed from the opening snap against Kansas City. Arizona is 4-9 when Murray throws 200 yards or less, making a quick start even more important for the Cardinals against a Raiders pass rush involving Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby. Jones will face his former team for the first time as he is arguably the best pass rusher in franchise history, leading the Cardinals in sacks (10.5).

Derek Carr was sacked five times in the loss to the Chargers, the most he has been sacked in a game since 2018. Carr will get his chance this week against a lightning-fast Arizona defense as the Cardinals were one of only three teams to have more than 40% basket defense in Week 1. Carr will try to divide football among more players than Adams, who last week 10 of the 22 pass catchers received (the Raiders pass catchers were targeted 34 times).

This matchup will be an intriguing one as both teams want to avoid the dreaded 0-2 start. For all the analytics and real-time breakdowns from this Week 2 showdown, stay tuned to the live blog below!
