Round Rock ISD kicks off series of COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Sunday

Round Rock ISD kicks off this week with a series of clinics offering free COVID-19 vaccines to students ages 5-11 from Sunday.

Parents or guardians should register their child for an appointment prior to the clinic visit and be asked to bring insurance information and medical/prescription cards, if they have them.

The district says an adult must be present at the appointment for the child to receive the vaccine.

Vaccine Clinic Schedule:

  • Sunday 14 Nov., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Stony Point High School Center for the Performing Arts, REGISTER
  • Monday 15 November, 2-8 p.m., Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, REGISTER
  • Tuesday 16 November, 2-8 p.m., Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, REGISTER
  • Wednesday 17 November, 2-8 p.m., Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, REGISTER
  • Thursday, November 18, 2-8 p.m., Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, REGISTER

Clinics will be organized in December where children can receive their second dose of the vaccine. Parents and guardians receive information from their child’s vaccine supplier on how to register them for the second dose, the district says.

For questions about the November 14 clinic, parents can call 866-506-6866, select option 7 and indicate that you have a question related to the Round Rock ISD clinic.

For questions about the clinics of November 15-18, parents can send an e-mail [email protected] or call 512-773-1588.

Parents can also contact their child’s pediatrician or make an appointment with health care providers such as: HAVE, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy. More information about COVID-19 vaccines for children is available at the: CDC’s website and help finding vaccines is available at: Vaccines.gov.

More information about additional clinics will be shared with the community as the data solidifies, the district says.
