Sacramento County announces closure of several COVID-19 test sites

SACRAMENTO, California (KTXL) – While California’s COVID-19 case continues to fall in the state, Sacramento County officials announced the closure of several test sites.

Locations in Natomas, Folsom and other areas will close their doors later this month due to lower demand.

Website Worker Bobby Dalton Roy said FOX40 backup is ready in case the sites need to be reopened and help in case of an increase in COVID-19 cases.

“We have now built a really strong partnership with Sacramento Medical Reserve Corps. And then we can, literally a phone call or email away, we can mobilize them, ”Roy said,

Roy said people should continue to use masks and social distancing to sustain the decline in cases.
