San Luis Obispo airport reopens COVID-19 test site

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — A new drive-through COVID-19 test site is opening at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport.

The site offers a variety of testing options, including rapid tests and a molecular PCR test, depending on travel or work needs. The operation is being led by COVID Clinic, which is already conducting several testing programs at airports across California.

Testing at the SLO Airport site is Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Appointments are recommended to ensure same-day testing, but walk-ins are accepted.

“We are excited to once again provide the San Luis Obispo region and its visitors with easy access to reliable COVID-19 testing,” said Courtney Johnson, President of Airports. “The drive-through process is efficient and safe, and we hope residents and travelers alike will benefit from the COVID Clinic facility.”

From December 6, the test hours at the airport will be extended to 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information to make an appointment, visit www.sloairport.com/testing.
