Seattle gives $3,000 to residents earning less than half of the city’s median income as part of the $16 million Seattle Relief Fund.

It means that individuals earning less than $40,500 and families earning less than $57,850 can receive the payment.

The program aims to provide immediate financial assistance to the most vulnerable residents and low-income city residents who have been affected by the Covid crisis.

Applications for the program closed on November 15, and decisions are expected to be announced on December 6.

Payments will then be sent after December 9.

Chicago offers relief payments through the Universal Basic Income Pilot program.

The city council announced in October that it had approved the scheme that will give 5000 low-income households in Chicago $500 a month for a year.

To qualify, individuals must earn less than $35,000 per year.

According to FingerLakes1.com, the $1,000 checks will be shipped in batches through the remainder of 2021 and 2022.

Another 750,000 stimulus checks worth $555 million were issued Monday.

About 9 million residents will receive checks before the end of the year.

Eligible residents receive from $500 to $1,100 depending on their scenario.

Payments began in September via direct deposit and will continue year-round via paper check.

To qualify, you must have California adjusted gross income of $1 to $75,000.

This income includes wages and self-employment income, tips, interest, dividends, rental income, retirement income, and gains on real estate sales.

You must also have wages of $0 to $75,000 for the 2020 tax year.

Eligible Residents cannot be claimed as dependents by another taxpayer.

You must also have filed your 2020 taxes by October 15, 2021.

Americans are calling on Joe Biden to introduce another round of stimulus money as concerns over the Omicron Covid variant mount.

Omicron has yet to be detected in the US, but the president labeled the species a “cause for concern” when addressing Americans on Monday.

There’s no evidence yet that the White House will roll out another round of checks despite the emergence of the new variant, but it hasn’t stopped poor Americans from demanding another round of payments.
