The stock settlement cycle is expected to be shortened by four hours, allowing investors to receive their stock or money the second morning after a trade.
So from August 29th they will get them on the second day at 11-11:30am (T+2) instead of the current 3:30pm-4pm
Now they have to wait until the next morning to sell securities they buy since trading ends at 2:45 PM
Depository participants must transfer funds and shares to clients by 1:00 PM and report to the Vietnam Securities Depository by 4:30 PM
