The Tennessee Titans’ Reserve/COVID-19 list is now officially empty as the team announced it has activated safety Kevin Byard, who was placed on the list on Nov. 29.
Byard is the third Titans player to be activated from the COVID-19 roster this week after backup quarterback Logan Woodside was activated on Sunday and practiced tight at the end of Austin Fort on Monday.
Byard’s activation means he will be gearing up for Week 14’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a game in which Tennessee will aim to pull off a two-game loss streak coming out of its farewell week.
A contender for Defensive Player of the Year, Byard was sensational for the Titans in 2021 after a bad year in 2020. His five interceptions are tied for third in the NFL, and he has the highest coverage in the AFC, per Pro Football Focus.
The Titans and Jaguars meet at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off at 12 noon CT.
