The Facts About COVID-19 and Flu: Virtual Conversation with Long Island Health Commissioners

All are invited to attend an informational virtual interview on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7:00 p.m., presented to Suffolk County Department of Health Services Commissioner Gregson Pigott and Nassau County Department of Health Commissioner Lawrence Eisenstein.

Titled “The Flu and COVID: A Conversation with Your County Health Commissioner,” the informative talk answers questions about COVID-19, the flu vaccine, and provides health advice for you and your loved ones.

Topics covered include: how to prevent the spread of flu and COVID-19, what health services in each county are doing to help Long Islanders, what to know about vaccine safety, the Delta variant, and how others variants can be prevented, why the booster vaccine is important and who should get it, and how to safely get both the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Questions can be submitted in advance and real-time Spanish translations are available.
