The federal government is unlikely to give most Americans another round of stimulus again, but some will be eligible for some financial aid in 2022.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, eligible Americans received as many as three stimulus checks to help them overcome the pandemic, although a fourth is unlikely, outside of a specific group.
Parents who have a child in 2021 are eligible for a 2022 incentive check of up to $1,400, similar to the third round issued in March.
Eligible new parents who inform the IRS that they have had a baby — or babies — when they file their 2021 taxes next year will still receive a stimulus check for those children.
Single parents who earn up to $75,000 per year and couples who earn up to $150,000 per year are eligible for the full amount of the check.
