Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Dakota Dozier has been released from hospital after battling COVID-19, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. Dozier, who has been fully vaccinated, was admitted to the emergency room on Tuesday evening after experiencing breathing problems. Coach Mike Zimmer told reporters on Wednesday that Dozier was in stable condition.
The 30-year-old lineman is feeling much better, Pelissero added. Dozier was placed on the team’s COVID-19 list on Nov. 5. He was the first of five Vikings to be placed on the list over a three-day period.
Zimmer said that “like 29 guys,” including himself, were tested because they were close contacts. Minnesota plays with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
