Millions of California residents were eligible for a Golden State stimulus check earlier this year when Governor Gavin Newsom signed the California Comeback Plan. The $100 billion package ensured that: two-thirds of adult residents could receive the direct payment, but not everyone has received one yet.
First and foremost, residents had to Tax return 2020 before October 15, 2021 to be eligible for benefits. Each person’s right is based on information submitted in their last application.

The first payment rounds consisted mainly of direct deposits directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, as this was the faster payment method. However, the California Franchise Tax Board (CFTB) has confirmed that the vast majority of these: was sent on November 15, meaning anyone still waiting is likely to get one paper stimulus check.
When will my physical Golden State incentive check arrive?
Between now and the end of January, hundreds of thousands of California residents will receive their physical stimulus check, totaling between $600 and $1,100 per person. The state-wide distribution effort has been a huge undertaking for the CFTB, so the payments have been split into a series of waves.
The distribution of payments is made by geographic location, with six payment rounds going out to six different postcode areas.
045-220: Checks sent between October 18 and November 5, arriving November 26
221-375: Checks sent between November 1st and November 19th, arrival before December 10th
376-584: Checks sent between November 15 and December 3, arrival on December 24
